New MSc opportunities for September 2020!

We have two MSc graduate student opportunities in the Department of Geography at Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario, Canada.

Applications are due by 15 January, 2020 for admission in September, 2020.

Research projects will focus on investigating the impacts of climate change on groundwater and streamflow in Precambrian Shield watersheds in collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks.  Specific topics include:

  • Mapping groundwater-surface water interactions using stable isotope synoptic surveys.
  • Analyzing high frequency time series of streamflow, groundwater levels and weather conditions.
  • Conducting a water balance of a reference Precambrian Shield watershed.

Interested students should contact me (aprilj@nipissingu.ca) by email and provide a CV, unofficial transcript and statement of interest.
