We would like to welcome Melodie Tessier as the new coordinator for the Lake Nipissing State of the Basin Report (LNSBR). Melodie comes to us from the MOECC Dorset Environmental Science Centre where she conducted lake monitoring. She completed her Master of Environmental Science at the University of Toronto, researching the effects of the invasive Spiny Waterflea on algae. During her 1-year term, Melodie will work with contributors and bring together the draft chapters of the first Lake Nipissing State of the Basin Report. She will also be an active member of our research team working on the Lake Nipissing Bays project. Feel free to contact Melodie with any comments or questions related to our ongoing work on the LNSBR. Welcome to the team Melodie!
