Congratulations to Nipissing University’s MESc student Megan Prescott who won the Jody Conner Student Award for presenting an outstanding student poster at the 2015 International Symposium of the North American Lake Management Society. Megan’s poster was entitled “Exploring Thermal Stratification and Mixing of Lake Nipissing Embayments: An Analysis of High Frequency Buoy Data.” Megan’s poster is currently on display on the second floor of the Research Wing. Megan has successfully completed her degree in the MESc program and is now working as our Hydrologic Technician here in Nipissing’s Integrative Watershed Research Centre. Kudos, Megan!
